Are you a solo act or band? Depending on existing gig commitments you can book Kev as a solo act or one of several bands he works with. Full bands include INXS GB (six piece tribute to INXS including sax) Shine A Light (five piece Rolling Stones tribute that is also available as an unplugged trio) as well as bands offering a variety of rock and classic rock covers.

How much is it to hire you? It depends on which act you want to hire, your location, the venue, number of guests and how long you want your guests to be entertained. Contact kevmorrellvocal@gmail.com with all the exciting details of your event and venue.

Why would I want a solo act if I could get a full band? Solo acts are cost-effective, flexible solutions that suit a wide variety of events and venues. Ideal for smaller spaces and celebrations, the compactness of a single artist, and a personal touch brings the music closer to you.

How long do you need to set up? 20 minutes to get everything in place and sound check for the solo act. An hour for larger acts. It's helpful to have parking nearby.

What do you need? Solo act: access to 2 domestic sockets, a mimimum space of 2 x 1 metres. Bands: 4 domestic sockets, minimum space of 2 x 3 meters.

What PA do you use? Most commonly used for the solo act - an elite "Evolve" PA for up to 250 people or the more intimate "Bose" for gatherings of around 60. Both provide stunning audio, ensuring pristine, consistent sound. Each band has access to these and larger systems and can hire equipment for events with over 600 people.

Will you be too loud? A great benefit of solo acts is the volume can be tailored to any size - literally from a front room to a concert hall. If your venue has a sound limiter, or you are concerned about noise levels, please just say. Not every venue would be suitable for bands so please include details with any enquiry.

Can we use your PA to play our own music? Absolutely, get ready to hear your music sound better than it ever has!

Do you perform any other songs? In the solo act - loads! Another great benefit of a solo act is it is much easier to customise the songlist to suit the occasion. If you're curious or have requests just ask! If it's a surprise party we can pick a setlist for you based on your suggestions of a few favourite songs.
